Parent's Anniversary

Today was my parent's anniversary, and this year it is their 18th anniversary. I made a card for my mommie and daddie, and gave it to them right when i woke up in the morning. For lunch, my sister and I took my mommie to a restaurant and payed for it too, but sadly my dad was at work so he didn't come with us.

Last year my daddie didn't get anything for my mom and this year my sister and I wanted it to be special this time so we told our daddie to buy 12 roses for my mommie and he did (12 roses is my mommies favourite number). My daddie then thought of taking my mommie to the KEG so they went there for dinner while my sister and I was home together eating dinner alone.

My daddie gave my mommie the roses when she went inside the car and I really wanted to see the reaction on her face but sadly I wasn't there. My mommie and daddie still didn't come home yet and I am still very excited and happy for them.

BASKETBALL CHAMPIONS :)

The girls basketball team of S.A.M had made it to the city finals. We are now the best of Scarborough and we represent the east when we go to our city finals on Wednesday, the 16th of December 2009. Well all of this came with alot of hard work and practice, we have practices in the morning at 7:30 am for about 2 or 3 times a week (weekdays).

We started of a little rusty at our first tournament at ACI where we played against Gr 8 teams. After a few weeks of practice we were alot better because of the new skills Mr Busby and Ms Cheng taught us. We learned how to defend and shoot better and also how to work as a team.
It doesn't matter if we lost or won, it was mostly about trying and playing our best all the time. Playing our best and trying our best was how we won and made it this far.

We also had some spectators/"cheerleaders" during our basketball games at S.A.M. That had bumped some of our confidence and pumped us more by us having to make our school proud of us. Our S.A.M spirit was also a good part because even if we were going to lose or was tired the people on the bench/audience was still cheering for us and that made us feel better and concentrate on he game.

The response to the quote by Robert Yates!

This post is about a quote written by Robert Yates, the quote is the following, "It is amazing what can be accomplished when nobody cares about who gets the credit". I think that this quote means that there are many things in life that people accomplish which changed (or could have) someones life and was a hard to complete but was still completed and they get no reward or not even a thank you. Robert Yates might even have been one of those people not getting the credit.

It might not even have been something hard to accomplish but was like a task or an important one. It's pretty sad how people sometimes don't get a thank you after they accomplished or done something good to someone. But for Martin Luther King Jr it was different, he was a good man that changed the whole world and stereotypes. People acknowledged and admired him and they also thought he was a role model because of his wonderful speech and his courage to actually talk about the stereotyping.

I would like to receive credit if I was working as a group for a project but otherwise it would depend on the situation because I sometimes like to receive credit for what I have done/accomplished but at times I would not really care.

Justin Bieber Autograph Signing

On Friday November the 6th, 2009, Jane, Amy, and I went to Justin Bieber's autograph signing in Vaughn Mills Mall. We went there right after school and took about a 45 or 30 minute drive until we arrived. When we got there, there were about 2000 people lining up outside waiting for Justin and unfortunately Jane, Amy and I had to go to the BACK of the line which is a very long walk. My sister had friends that missed school to line up for Justin's autograph and some people actually SLEPT through the night on the sidewalk outside!!!!!!!!

While we were waiting in line, a boy band from Disney called WOW came to the end of the line to give us some autographs, hugs and pictures. They are really cute almost as cute as Justin Bieber, but Justin is way cuter :) I think they felt sorry for the people in the back of the line so they came :) wish Justin came........ Anyways, back to the story, we waited in line for about 2 hours and a half and the signing starts from 4pm to 7pm and at 6 30 pm we were so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so CLOSE to get an autograph BUT NO HE HAD TO LEAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think JUSTIN IS A LIAR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so sad.............. :(

HI PEOPLE,AND FOLLOWERS!!!!! On Friday October 29th, 2009, I went to my school's dance and it was AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME my friends and I couldn't stop dancing that we felt like we were suffocating. It was awesome because the music was GREAT and the people there was GREAT too :).

I danced with all my friends (sadly with no guys) and even slow danced with my friends. At some point the slow dance was quite awkward but I liked the fast songs the best. My last post was about my prediction of how the dance was going to be awesome and GUESS WHAT????? I was RIGHT!!!!! So now I can't wait for more dances to come.

Halloween Dance So Excited!!!!! :) Pt 1

I know its a week away but I can't wait any longer! I think the dance is gonna be awesome and I'm going to have a great time dancing with my friends. One thing I know for sure is that I will be really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really happy and HYPER.

ONE other thing I know for sure is that my costume is gonna look AMAZING and I think that I am over confident but whatever at least I'm on the positive side right? I will blog about this topic again to see if my prediction was correct (90% positive it is right).

MUSIC IS MY LIFE!!!!!!

I personally love music and I think it means the world to me. Music is what expresses peoples feelings and life, which is what I think the best way to make a song. Music is always my life and I always always have to listen to music everyday or else I will DIE!!! I love music because, I don't know why but I just LOVE IT!!!!!

I also love to sing and play the acoustic guitar. I love sooooooooooooooo many songs that I have no favourite singer and I love so many artists I can't decide. But 2 that stick out of my mind now is Stereos and Justin Bieber. I have written a few pieces of songs/music and I also relate it to my feelings/emotions and life. I usually get a tune or lyrics for a song when I get really emotional.

So that was my music life story and I usually never tell anyone about this so yeah...... I gave alot of thought to post this and I just posted it since I didn't know what else to blog about.

My Trip To Paris,London and Rome

On July the 4th 2009, my mom, my sister and I went to London (UK), Paris and Rome. We took a 10 hour flight to London and arrived around 3 (in London time) in the morning. When we left the airport we had to get train tickets to go to a place closer to our hotel. Then we had to go to another ticket booth to get day passes to go on subways which we had to wait in line for 2 hours (opens at 6am). Not to be rude or anything but there were many homeless people there and my sister, Nancy and I got scared. When we found our way to our hotel we took a shower and went to see the London eye which was the 2nd largest ferris wheel in the world. We stayed in London for 4 days and saw many sights. We then took a train to get to the beautiful city Paris.

Arriving in Paris was pretty confusing since all the signs and people there usually spoke french. So when we asked for directions in English many people didn't understand what we were saying. We got lost but after a few days we got used to all of the roads and subways. My 2 favourite things I did in Paris was going to Disney and going to the Louvre where there were many paintings, they even had the real Mona Lisa. Oh yeah, I would never forget the time I went to see the Eiffel Tower, I got to go up the tower and i saw how high we were and i almost fainted. We stayed in Paris for 6 days and now the last destination is Rome.

We had to stay in a train that had three beds in a room to get to Rome, and it was so squishy and stuffed I felt like dying and guess what!!!!!!!! I had to sleep at the top bunk which was even hotter. When we arrived there it was HOT like 36 degrees and I felt like I was getting cooked on a stove. If I didn't have any water in Rome I would die of dehydrating. We went to a place where bulls used to fight and it was very old but pretty in a way and we went to many churches
and made many wishes also. But it was the end of this adventure on July the 17th when we had to go back to Canada.

When we where in the plane I felt very sad and depressed that the traveling had to end so soon. But during the flight I also spent some time looking at the pictures we took and I was quite surprised when I saw that there were over 600 pictures that we took during this trip. I was also glad that after this whole long flight that we get to eat in a resturant after. So this was the end of my wonderful trip to London, Paris and Rome.
