The Shepherd's Granddaughter

I think I have to dis agree to all the Jews out there in the world who think that "The Shepherd's Granddaughter" should be banned from school libraries. I didn't get a chance to read this book yet but by the sounds of my classamtes and teachers I think the book is a reasonable and descriptive book. I know that it may have a bit of a offensive side of the Israelis but it was just based on what they did during the past.

I know for sure that everyone knows that not every race has the same personality and same intrests. So why would you complain about this book when it's just based on the group of Israelis that like to kill stuff or is violent? When I read the summary of this book I didn't feel like this book was that offending at all, well just a little but not a lot. The Jews have to understand that this book was just based on the the Isralis that dislike the Palestinians and we know that not all Israelis hate or dislike the Palestiniansso there is nothign wrong with that.

I think that leaving this book in the Red Maple category is a good way to encourage more teens/children to read it so we can get more opinions about this also. It can help children learn about what is happening in the outside world. I will read this book myself now and see what else I will think about this book. You should read it too if u hadn't already!

Justin Bieber Summer World Tour

I am the BIGGEST Justin Bieber fan EVER (well I think I am). I have over 42 posters of him on my wall and also ALOT on my closet door. I listen to his songs before I go to school and I listen to his songs before I go to sleep, I just LOVE his awesome songs. When I'm sad and I listen to his songs it just cheers me up or even when I'm not sad it just makes me like(love) him even more.

I bought his My World album the day it came out, which I was really excited about. Now his new album My World 2.0 is coming out on March 23 2010 and I pre ordered it so I get his actual autograph, get to pre order his summer tour tickets, 5 posters and I sent a picture to them of me and I get to be in a mosaic that will be a picture of Justin Bieber in the end. IT'S GONNA BE AWESOME!!!!!

I am going to pre order it next week and I am going with my best friend Cindy. The date of the tour in Toronto is August 21st and is at the ACC. I can't wait and I'm really excited for it to begin. I love him so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so much!!!!!!!!

Alice In Wonderland: The Movie

On March 16, 2010 Howra, Aqsa, Cindy and I went to Fairview Mall to watch a movie called Alice In Wonderland. Before I watched the movie, I wasn't a big fan of Alice In Wonderland, but after I had watched it I loved and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

We took the bus to go there and when we arrived there was a VERY long line that lined up to the doors. Thankfully I saw my sister, Nancy and she told me that we could buy the tickets on a machine with a visa, credit card, or debit and luckily I had my debit with me. We then went to get our drinks and popcorn. The movie was approx. 1hr and 40 mins long.

After the movie we went to get some food because some of us didn't eat breakfast. When we were done eating Aqsa and Howra had to leave so Cindy and I just stayed because we wanted to hangout some more. So Cindy and I were having the longest talk about which store to go first so we just went to the I first picked which was Forever 21. We then went to Bath and Body Works where we tried on a bunch of lip glosses and which Cindy thought was yummy!

We then went to the Apple Store and we got to use a laptop there and we took silly,random and funny pictures of us. We were laughing really loudly and the people beside us and people who were working were staring at us weirdly. So we stopped laughing (ok I have to admit I did most of the laughing). This day was coming to end and our last stop was to go to get some drinks, I got coffee (which I spilled some on myself) and Cindy got iced cappuccino. We then went to the bus station and went home. It was a very long bus ride home and it had some awkward silence, which was awkward. But I had a blast with my best friends.

The 2010 Olympics

The 2010 Olympics are coming to an end and Canada is currently in 3 place (for medals). Canada also set a new record as the most gold medals won by the hosted country of the Olympic games, which is currently 13 gold medals and currently 25 medals in total.

The women had a strong energy competing which ended up winning 6 medals in one day and in total the women had won more than half of the medals for Canada. Today is SUPER SUNDAY because the final hockey game is today and it is the USA vs CANADA. I have this feeling that the US will win Canada but the other part of me have a feeling that Canada will win.

The events I was most looking forward to was snowboarding and men's figure skating. I was looking forward for men's figure skating because I wanted to watch Patrick Chan skate. He is very cute and a very good skater. For the short program for figure skating he got 5 place but for the long program for figure skating he got 1st place but got dropped down to 5th place once again.

Alex's Birthday Party :)

On Saturday,February 20th 2010, I went to Alex's Birthday party. There were only 6 people who were there (unfortunately) but it was still fun.

We first watched tv for awhile and then Alex's dad bought like 30-40 packs of water and we had to bring them to the basement. It didn't take a long time but it took a lot of strength. We just said to ourselves that it was our DPA. We then went on the computer and went on Facebook, MSN and went on youtube to listen to Justin Bieber songs. That took about an hour and after that we were REALLY bored so Alex and I went to the OC to buy DVD's and Cindy, Amy and Tiffany went to the supermarket to buy some food to make to eat for dinner. Later our other friend Judy arrived.

For a surprise, Amy, Tiffany and Cindy bought a cake for Alex and I had to take Alex upstairs for about an talking about random stuff (JUSTIN BIEBER) while they make the food and hide the cake. Later on Tiffany told us we can go downstairs and told her to close her eyes until she got to the kitchen. They made fried rice with veggies in it,sauced sausages,Vietnamese subs and for dessert fruit salad/cake.

We then watched the Lovely Bones (movie) and ate chips and popcorn. After we opened the gifts and played cards but during the game I had to leave so they had to restart the game. It was quite a fun day for me.

Highlights of 2009

In 2009 a lot of things had happened, that were bad or good news. Many things were related to deaths to people who were kidnapped 18 years ago being found. Also many new celebrities have been discovered in 2009.

Barack Hussein Obama was the first black president in the US and Susan Boyle was a discovered singer from Britain's Got Talent and is now successful with albums / singles on itunes.

Some things that highlighted my life in 2009 was when I was in grade 6 in C.D Farquharson. It was my best year ever because my class was awesome and most of my close friends were in that class and we did a lot of fun stuff in the class. Also in grade 6, I was graduating from my school so I was happy because I was in that school since kindergarten and things were getting pretty boring and old.

Some other highlights of 2009 was when Michael Jackson, Brittany Murphy, Billy Mays, DJ AM, and Patrick Swayze died. But some good news was that a girl named Jaycee Dugard was kidnapped 18 years ago and was found. The last thing that was the highlight of 2009 was when I went to Middle school and I met many new friends.

Snowboarding is AWESOME

For Christmas, my parents got me a snowboard. I was really excited because my mom said that I get to go snowboarding every 2 weeks (even after winter break). But on the 2nd week of my winter break I went 2 times. Once on the 30th and once on New Years!



On the 3oth was when I used my snowboard the first time and my sister also got a snowboard. But she didn't know how to snowboard so it was sort of hard for her. When we arrived to Dagmar my sister was a bit scared to go down the hill so taught her some basic skills/stuff and she got the hang of it so after about a 45 minute of practise, we went straight to the higher hills which was awesome.



On the 31st I went to my Mom's friends house and we had a blast. We also counted down to New Years! We left around 1 am and I was exhausted and we also was planning to go snowboarding on New Years. When went to Dagmar this time my Dad went skiing with my sister and I. We had an awesome time and my sister, my Dad and I wants to go every 2 weeks which is great!!!
